We specialise in breeding quality Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs for breeding and meat.  Sow lines are Bluebell, Dolly, Countess, Muriel and Primrose, our boar lines are Patrick and Rufus. 

Our pigs are free range and kept in an outdoor paddock, muddy in winter but the pigs never complain about that just us as we lose our wellies again and again, we then have purpose built pens in a barn for them to come in and farrow, we like them to have a natural life as much as possible, space to roam, mud to dig in and a wallow to swim in.  And of course lots of fussing which this breed seems to thrive on, their good natures ensuring an easy to handle pig if you put the time in.

A good happy life that shows in the quality of the produce at the end, traditionals are the way forward for the future, we say no to the intensive atmosphere absent sheds so many pigs are reared in and say pigs do far better to thrive outside naturally.
